About Me

I am a post-doctoral research associate with Prof. Girish Chowdhary at Coordinated Science Laboratory, UIUC, USA. Formerly, I have been a research associate and a doctoral student with Prof. Debasish Chatterjee at Systems and Control Engineering, IIT Bombay, India.

As a doctoral student, I studied stochastic model predictive control (MPC) under the settings of (possibly) unbounded disturbances and hard constraints on control actions. I extended this framework for networked systems under the supervision of Prof. Daniel E. Quevedo and we gradually developed a provably stabilizing and tractable framework that incorporates estimation, control and communication co-design under intermittent observations and unreliable actions.

My research proposal on stochastic predictive control over networks has received funding from Swiss federation for the session 2017-18 to work with Prof. Colin N. Jones at EPFL, Switzerland. Under his supervision I studied a problem of reference tracking stochastic MPC and implemented a part of our work on a nano-quadcopter.
